Tami Tappan

Ellen (Broadway, 1st USA National Tour)

Tami Tappan is thrilled to be joining this company of Miss Saigon directly from Broadway. She recently appeared in Cyrano, where she understudied and performed the role of Roxane. Tami was featured in the national and international tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber, which traveled to England and Australia with Michael Crawford and to Japan with Sarah Brightman. She received her BFA with honors from Carnegie Mellon, and began her theatrical career in Washington, D.C. Favorite roles include Carol in Lemon Sky, the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and young Lydie in Ldie Breeze, for which she received a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Tami wishes to thank mom, dad, and Tony for their love and support. This performance is dedicated in loving memory to her friend, Ron Kerns.
