Rona Figueroa

Kim (Broadway)

Rona Figueroa makes her professional debut in Miss Saigon, first understudying the role of Kim on the first national tour when it opened in Chicago in 1992, and then taking over the role on Broadway a year later. Born and raised by two musical parents in the San Francisco area, Rona began piano lessons and dance classes at the age of five and has continued to expand into almost every other facet of the arts. In addition to performing with the To Be Loved top 40s show band, Rona's stage credits include West Side Story and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. Rona thanks God, parents, friends, voice teacher Neil Semer, and acting teacher Sande Shurin for their never-ebbing enthusiasm and confidence, especially Alejandro Figueroa for whom all shows are dedicated.
