Robert Vicencio

Thuy (Sydney, Asian Tour, UK Tour)

Born in 1976, the Year of the Dragon, Robert began his stage career at the age of six. His talents were recognised early when he won first prize at the City of Sydney Eisteddfod Speech competition. He studied at St. Aloysius College from 1985 and was a member of the school choir for seven years. His school musicals included the lead role of Captain Corcoran in HMS Pinafore, Prince John in Blondel and Teiresias in Sophocles: Oedipus Rex. He graduated majoring in vocals performance and composition. Robert produced, directed and starred in his own music video clip for a song he composed and recorded for the higher school certificate which was then selected for exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW and throughout the State. Miss Saigon is Robert's professional musical theatre debut and he says the greatest gift he could ever receive is to see a dream unfold before his eyes.
