After starting her musical training at the age of six, Jacqui won a scholarship at 10 years old to Chethams School of Music in Manchester, where she studied guitar, clarinet, voice and piano. On completing her classical training, she entered, and won, the BBC talent show Rising Stars and went on to appear with Cannon & Ball, Les Dawson, Joe Brown and headed her own TV series Contrasts for the BBC, where she performed her own compositions recorded on the CBS label. She appeared in the original cast of Chess (Prince Edward Theatre), Humpty Dumpty (Dominion). Her TV credits include co-hosting two Royal Variety Performances, Highway with Sir Harry Seacombe, Pebble Mill, Song for Europe, The Des O'Connor Show and launched the Sky TV Channel into Tokyo, Australia and Los Angeles. She maintains a busy recording schedule and can be heard on the albums Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Me & My Girl, Cole Porter. She also performs regularly in a series of live concerts with the RPO Pops Orchestra. Prior to joining Miss Saigon Jacqui played the leading roles of Eva Peron in Evita and Grizabella in Cats. She has two young daughters and lives in rural Hampshire.
