Eugene Barry-Hill comes to us directly from the World Premier and Original Broadway cast of DisneyÕs Õ98 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, The Lion King, where he played the role of Mufasa. Prior to that extraordinary experience, he performed the Andre role in the national touring production of The Pointer Sisters AinÕt MisbehavinÕ! starring The Pointers Sisters, where he received outstanding notices for his performance of the infamous Vipers Drag, under the direction of original and Tony nominated director / choreographer Arthur Faria. Mr. Barry-Hill is an accomplished performer who spent five years touring the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia as a member of the Grammy Award winning singing group ÒThe Fifth Dimension.Ó He has worked extensively in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Alaska and The Caribbean as an associate of Emmy Award-winning choreographer Anita Mann (TVÕs "Solid Gold"). Mr. Barry-Hill resided many years in the San Francisco Bay Area performing shows such as Seesaw starring Tommy Tune, Kiss Me Kate starring Harve Presnell, Two Gentlemen of Verona starring TVÕs "Laverne and Shirley" co-star Eddie Mekka (Carmine), Pippin as the Leading Player, and the World Premier of Street Dreams at The Old Spaghetti Factory. He is the recipient of the San Francisco Cabaret Gold Award for Best Concert Performance.
