Cristina is an 18-year old Californian who is very proud of her Filipino heritage and traditional values. She graduated at 16 years of age with high honors from Canoga Park High School in L.A., and moved to the Bay Area to attend U.C. Berkeley on an electrical engineering and computer science scholarship. In 1994, she became a Star Search Champion and was also voted Filipino Female Entertainer of the Year by Media Productions of San Francisco. At 17, Cristina made her acting debut when she played Kim in the second national tour of Miss Saigon. Now, she is very happy to be part of the first national tour. Outside of music, Cristina enjoys playing sports, speaks three languages, often participates in various youth activities, and loves exploring other artistic ventures. She extends deep gratitude to her vocal coach Elisabeth Howard, her close friends and loved ones for their constant support and faith in her talent, and mostly, God the Almighty Father for his many blessings.
