Charles Azulay

Thuy (Toronto, 1st USA National Tour, The Netherlands)

Charles comes to the first national tour of Miss Saigon directly trom the Toronto company where he pertormed this role for two years. He can also be heard as Thuy on the symphonic version of Miss Saigon. Prior to Miss Saigon, Charles understudied and performed the role of Marius in Les Miserables both in Toronto and on the Canadian national tour. Recently Charles appeared in the controversial movie/musical about AIDS, Zero Patience, which won awards at the 1993 Toronto International Festival of Festivals. Other stage credits include Man of La Mancha, Godspell, Hair, A Chorus Line and The King and I. Charles would like to thank the Almighty for all his gifts and also to thank his wife Mary Joyce for all of her love and support.
